Mark is a tax and accounting partner with Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC and has over 20 years of experience with emphasis in tax planning, management advisory services and consulting for individuals and businesses. Mark also has experience in financial planning, business merger and acquisition advice and tax representation before tax authorities. Mark serves a broad range of clients in the software, manufacturing construction and related service industries. Before joining Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC Mark was with Price Waterhouse, LLP and two other local CPA firms working as a relationship and tax manager in their Minneapolis offices.

Mark manages the Plymouth office which is comprised of 30 client service professionals dedicated to excellent client service. The firm has grown to serve over 2500 individual and privately held businesses primarily in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Mark graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. Professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mark, his wife Kim and their three children reside in Plymouth where he is involved in coaching his children and related community activities. Mark and his family are active members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He also enjoys boating, baseball, basketball, hunting and fishing.
