"At Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC, we help our clients understand all aspects of a problem; not just the accounting aspect. That way, they can make the best possible business decision."
Amy joined Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC fresh out of college with a double major in business and accounting. She works with many of the firm's most complex clients while maintaining internal quality control standards for Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC assurance services. She was instrumental in the firm's adoption of the BDO Seidman Audit Approach and a paperless office initiative. She takes a key role in our internal inspection and third party peer reviews.
"I like to create order from disorder. I use that gift every day with my clients by summarizing complex situations and transactions into a fashion that is easy for them to understand."
Amy works with clients in manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, retail and other product and service companies. This experience includes the performance and management of audits/reviews and various technical accounting, financial reporting and tax consulting projects.
Amy has been with Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC for more than 15 years. She attributes her longevity to working with great people for great clients.
"We truly have fun in our business. That's not something you can fake. We pride ourselves on being "accountants with personality," which in turn creates an environment where everyone is more like family than mere co-workers."
