Mark Pieper joined MTK, LLC in 1989 after working for a Big Four firm in Minneapolis. As a tax and accounting partner with over 22 years of experience he has developed a broad set of skills to serve and advise the clients he has been entrusted to serve. While most of his time is devoted to tax planning and consulting for individuals and businesses, Mark also has experience in financial planning, merger and acquisition advice and tax representation before tax authorities.

Mark serves on a number of firm management committees and works with staff to help them develop long term paths for success. “I value these relationships and opportunities as they give me the ability to invest time in our company and staff. Fostering meaningful relationships and success as a firm translates into good service.” This experience with firm management has helped him assist clients with management advisory services, developing compensation plans and related transactions.

Interests and Activities
Mark, his bride Kim and their three children reside in Plymouth where he is involved in coaching his children’s teams and related community activities. Mark and his family are active members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He also enjoys boating, baseball, basketball, hunting and fishing.
